OUR KIDS SOCIAL SPINS OFF LUNCH AND SUPPER CLUB SILENT DISCO SPECIALS

SILENT BEATS AND TASTY EATS FOR FAMILIES AT MANCHESTER’S COOLEST VENUES

Our Kids Social (OKS), pioneers of family events providing ‘a knees up with your nippers’ in Manchester’s most iconic venues, has launched a programme of lunch and supper clubs, where fantastic food is paired with their infamous interactive family silent disco.

Silent Beats and Tasty Eats is popping up in Rocket and Orange in Altrincham on 27th April - tickets are on sale now!

The Our Kids Social Silent Disco is the only one of its kind 100% designed for families, and the lunch and supper club events also add fancy dress up and family photo-frame, dancefloor props, inflatables and face-painters to the line-up. The OKS festival wrist-band art and Madchester collaborative murals will add further crafty fun.

Families and groups of friends can buy tickets to reserve their space and at Rocket and Orange they can expect quality food, complementary fizz for the adults courtesy of Bubble Babysitting app and special menus for children. Plus music that is bound to get you up and dancing!

Goody bags have been put together with gifts from Raring 2 Go Altrincham and Sale, Good Bubble UK and Naturelly Family.

Alice Giles, co-founder of Our Kids Social commented, “OKS Friday night Supper Clubs and holiday Lunch Clubs are designed to allow adults and kids alike to socialise with family and friends and centre around great food, fab tunes and good old-fashioned fun. We think most Manchester families fancy a change at meal times, so this is your chance to let the kids throw their hands up at the silent disco, whilst the adults let their hair down over a relaxed meal.

About Our Kids Social
Our Kids Social is Alice, Hannah and Jo. We are three friends with young families eternally looking for fun things to do with our children. Whilst we had plenty of options during the week, we wanted something different to do at the weekend that catered for everyone and meant having fun together as a family. Let's face it, there are only so many times you can go back to soft-play without needing a change of scene! We wanted to create a place where families could be together and all enjoy themselves - somewhere with something for everyone.

Although our backgrounds are varied in education, youth work and design, Our Kids Social represents the things we love doing with our time outside of work - the things we want to do with our kids and for them to enjoy: good music, an opportunity to be creative, socialising with adults and children, making new friends, building a community, maybe even some embarrassing dancing to top it all off.

OKS create large social family events at venues such as Manchester Monastery, Victoria Baths and Islington Mill, we pop up at festivals, host birthday parties and now are branching out into popular lunch and supper clubs
